Vicky Ellaway-Barnard is a published writer from Cambridgeshire, UK. She writes short stories and novels that seem to feature spiky, unlikeable or somehow unhinged women, and that examine important and often under-discussed societal issues, such as migration, motherhood and assisted dying.

Several of her short stories have been shortlisted or placed in national competitions. She is now writing her third novel (and this time through The Novelry) with the support of an Arts Council grant.
